Use of Google Analytics

kinkaa uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (hereinafter: "Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", which are text files that are saved on the computer of the user and which enable an analysis of the use of the Websites by the user. The information created by the cookie about the use of the Website is generally generated by the cookie to a server of Google in the USA and is saved there. kinkaa has enhanced the Google Analytics code to anonymize the user's IP-Address through the parameter "gat._anonymizeIp();". This will have Google shorten the IP-Address of users within the European Economic Area (EEA) or in other contracting states to the EEA in advance. In exceptional cases only will the user's complete IP-Address be sent to a Server of Google in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of kinkaa Google will use this information to evaluate the use of the Website, compiling reports on Website activity for the Website operators, and to develop further services as regards the Website. Google may also transmit this information to third parties, insofar as this is required by law or if third parties process this information on behalf of Google. Google will not associate the user's IP address and further data that has been collected about the user with other data held by Google and other Google services. The user is able to prevent the installation of cookies by adjusting the browser settings, the warning about the reduced functionality of the Websites described above, also applies.
